Here are some frequently asked questions.

*Can you install a brand new sprinkler system or repair the one I already have?

Yes, yes we can.

*What payment methods do you accept? Will I get a receipt to prove I paid you?

We accept cash, cashiers check, Zelle, debit or credit (2.7% - 3.5% processing fee may apply to debit/credit)

We do not accept personal checks. All payments must be paid to our official business bank account with CHASE BANK. Once we receive payment, we are always happy to either write a paper receipt or send a text/email acknowledging receipt of payment. If you use an electronic payment method than your bank or banking app transaction history can double as a receipt

*Can we do the work together? Can I do some of the work and your company do some of the work.

Unfortunately not. Our company policy does not allow joint workmanship with our clients. Respectfully, we also ask that you give us space to work and refrain from trying to "DIY" any part of a landscape project that you have hired us for.

*Do you offer monthly yard maintenance services?

Yes. We offer a popular monthly and bi-monthly yard maintenance membership package. Ask us about it when you call us or during an on site consultation

*If I hire your company, do I have to pay the entire total price up front?

In the vast majority of cases, a deposit will start your repair and/or landscape project. The entire remaining amount would be due once we do a "Review and Walk Thru" to confirm our work is complete. We do not offer payment plans or payment extensions at this time.

*Can you give me a quote over the phone without doing an on site evaluation or consultation?

Sadly we can not. We must do an in person consultation before we agree to any work and/or give you a pricing quote.

In today's world, we must make an effort to avoid scammers, avoid liabilities and protect our trusted reputation. Giving quotes without on site consultations is risky for both us and our customers. We also don't do "price bait and switch" therefore we can only give an accurate quote AFTER we have done an on site consultation and met the homeowner in person. Our consultations are 100% free.

*When I hire you, do I need to be home for you to complete your work

Usually not. But it really depends on a few factors like locked gates/fences, location of our work area, walkthrough and final payment days, etc.

*How will I know that you have actually completed the work as promised?

We do a "Final Review & Walk Thru" before accepting final payment to test and/or confirm our work is complete. We will walk around your property and prove our value. If we installed sprinklers you will see them working. If we installed sod you will see lush green grass and so on.

*I've had bad experiences with landscapers in the past. Why should I trust RHS Properties with my money and my property?

We treat your yard like its our own. We are respectful and professional. We get the job done correctly the first time. We actually listen to what our customers want and we deliver as promised. We are constantly told that other local landscapers can be a headache and a nightmare. But that is none of our business. Our business is you, our customer.

*I am considering hiring several other landscapers. Why should I hire RHS Properties instead?

We work fast and efficient. We are highly rated because we know how to do our job. We show up as promised. We communicate clearly and honestly. We don't "Price bait switch". We don't "ghost" our clients. We ensure our work is done correctly before asking for the final payment, etc.

*It looks like you guys may have left extra materials, supplies, and/or tools on my property. Since I paid you, aren't these mine to keep?

Unfortunately not. As full time, state licensed landscapers, we have sourced most tools and materials in advance. We also pay for storage space for basically every item, material and/or tool we will use on your project well before you hired us.

In the case of organic materials like plants or sod, we either use our lines of credit and/or contractor pricing that is not available to the general public.

*As licensed landscapers, do you have working relationships and/or a referral list for other trusted, licensed home service professionals such as HVAC, plumbers, electricians, etc?

Yes. We only refer you to licensed contractors who you can verify online. We are constantly searching for, vetting and working with other home pros from pest control techs to HVAC and more. Just ask us for a referral.
